C.M.H.... ROAD ( Crucified.... Murdered .......and now it’s Hell )

Ah! CMH Road.. if i date back my memory .. And see if any sparks are alive... the memories of CMH ROAD as a friendly environment.. And a place which is a paradise for any new comer.. With its endless list of juice centers, Dashinis, small restaurant (SUSWAAD and GOKUL KUTEER) being my favorites.. Cyber café, service centers, mobile showrooms, the any season cotton EXPO! Ah i can go on and on..
i first came here when i was in second year architecture.. .with some friends.. We had a good time and knew exactly all the small places we needed to know, from stationary to food centers. To ATM’s for quick cash! We also know the temple ...which we went only once. :) CMH road though was a busy street housed many of large and humongous trees with its even larger foliage shading the road from the sun, this was heaven for the people on pavements.
2 days back I had been to this place CMH road again to get my wedding cards printed. Strangely whenever I went earlier I never actually went through the main CMH road. But this time I just happened to go, And to my HORRER I couldn’t not see the plight of this street which was once buzzing with people and was really happening. It’s a shame and who’s to be blamed! Terrible it hurts to see this. It’s sad!
I only hope it regains its charm once the “Namma Metro “is back!

2 days 5 movies!

It’s been 2 days since I fell sick... COLD is the worse way to fall ill man it’s sickening.. Trust me every disease has a remedy except cold. Which we otherwise call “COMMON COLD “, Sometimes I wonder why is it called common cold, may be cause many common people catch it!!Rather easily..
Not funny!
Well I was talking about me being sick and that too on Thursday and Friday.. so I didn’t go to the office. Taking off on Thursday and Friday only make the weekend a bit longer because Saturday and Sunday are off by default. I started getting better by Saturday! And so by Saturday evening I began which I hadn’t done for a long time!! WATCH MOVIES!
I was so desperate to watch movies that I borrowed my neighbor Friend‘s DVD player to watch the movies, as the DVD player at my home didn’t play Divex movies …
Well well well..it all started off with watching “SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE “ I pulled in my mom and sis too to watch the movie , in fact I was watching it for them! they loved it! And I was in turn very happy! to watch it again!! With my folks!
As Soon as this got over I wanted to watch the second movie..to which my mom objected as it was already 10 pm… but i insisted and so my mom and sis watched the movies till they were tired and went off to sleep… this was a comedy flick!! Funny name too” oye lucky lucky oye! I loved the movie anf the character of LUCKY played by the young lad! And loved the performance of abhay deol also.. i personally feel out of the 3 deol brothers ABHAY rocks! Movie got over at about 12am….then slowly I went off to sleep! Though I wasn’t feeling sleepy!
When I got up it was Sunday morning hummmm I guess about 9.30 am remembered that I had to get NAMITA home, my classmate in architecture! I had invited her for lunch! I was seeing her after hum say about 3 yrs.. she is in AUKLAND now … persuing her higher studies… soon after she completes she will be called Dr. Namita kambli! Well that’s about it ! I dropped her to her cousin’s place and I came back! Coming back I hit to arun’s home! The movie king ! There we decided to watch more movies.. so I soon went upstairs to my place changes into comfortable clothes and came down … I was all set!! For more action!
We watched MADAGASKAR2 awesome movie..man I jus loved the animation!! Too gud! Don’t wanna describe it got watch it for ur self!! And after that we wached “DIL KABBADI” its nice movie but got a bit complicated!! And repetitive.. but I loves the concept and the whole look of the film! Too gud..
Exhausted I came back at about 5.30pm went to shop with my mom some veggies….. This is one thing I love to DO I fact I have slowly developed this liking to shop vegetables with my mom… oh!! Lemme preserve a whole new column of writing for this new interest of mine!! For my Blog!
After coming back as if the 4 movies were not enough I told my mom and sis to be ready for another movie and promised them that this one would be a nice one!
We now watched “DASVIDANIYA” and awesome awesome movie and stunning performance by VINAY PATHAK! Man i have become his huge FAN !!!!
So all in all a great way to overcome sickness,,,, hey who says cold is contagious I say moves are!!

A month gone by...and rest of lifetime ahead...

Today we complete a month of our engagement and also a month of our legal marriage : D . Strange coincidence’ s happened today, being a month after our engagement( this realisation came later)and also today being the day of 'Vyankunta ekadashi', it so happened that i took take my family to ISKON temple as it was a day of 'vykunta ekadashi' a day of great importance according to hindu scriptures. The drive to ISKON was very hectic. loads of people rushing to have their glimpse of lord vishnu,krisha....by entering through the northern gate....it took almost 2 hrs for us to reach the temple, and thereafter reaching we decided not to go in looking at the such and crowd of people, as it was ot safe for my sister who is expecting... we decided to go to indranagar...but again as soon we went a little ahead my mom too felt giddy and wanted to go home.. Hence again change in plans and we decided to go home. Coincidentally we wer very close to the sai baba temple at sampige road in malleshwaram.. And i felt it was apt to at least go there.. i was hungry by now but nevertheless decided to go to the temple.
The temple was calm and peaceful with absolutely no rush of people. we had a good darshan and came out. i guess GOd heard my prayers and there was some 'prasad ' being served there. The little prasad was enough to keep me going till we reach home at least. on reaching home i realised about the completion of a month of our engagement.. and strangely all came back to me ....i remember the day we got our signature for the regd marriage.. in PONDA, the first thing that me and chetu did was visited the SAi Baba temple in Borim.. and exactly a month later i was somehow drawn to this divine presence and hence came to the BABA mandir here in bangalore. what ! an experience.

The day was enriching with experiences..
I stand in deep gratitude to this divine presence as it showers the grace on us !

SLUM DOG MILLIONAIRE !

"In a time of global fusions and meltdowns, Slumdog Millionaire is an absorbing blend of thriller and Bollywood hyperbole, a feel-good story of love, fidelity, and brotherhood set in Mumbai's most dangerous and glamorous places."

One of the most fascinating movies in recent times... and so far tops the list of 'MY' favourite movies. All i can say is its a must awatch and espicially if you live in india you'd enjoy it throughly. This movie has a fast knit pace which keeps you so glued into the movis that ud ' feel suffocated if ud had to even miss this movie fo ra second ah! the music by Ar Rahaman is jus awesome, the movie is so much embided in reality that, sometime when you look back ud smile at the child inside you.

all i can say is hats off to Danny Boyle ............. great job.

"That he should be so abject, base and poor, To choose for wealth and not for perfect love."

A Tribute to the Master...

Starry starry night, paint your palette blue and grey
Look out on a summer's day with eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills, sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills, in colors on the snowy linen land

Now I understand what you tried to say to me
How you suffered for you sanity How you tried to set them free
They would not listen they did not know how, perhaps they'll listen now

Starry starry night, flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue, morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand

Chorus:
For they could not love you, but still your love was true
And when no hope was left in sight, on that starry starry night
You took your life as lovers often do,
But I could have told you, Vincent,
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you

Starry, starry night, portraits hung in empty halls
Frameless heads on nameless walls with eyes that watch the world and can't forget.
Like the stranger that you've met, the ragged man in ragged clothes
The silver thorn of bloody rose, lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow

Now I think I know what you tried to say to me
How you suffered for you sanity How you tried to set them free
They would not listen they're not listening still
Perhaps they never will.

another year gone by...

It has possibly been one of the most eventful year so far, no year, as far as I know was as eventful as this. Personally for me it has been a time to see of how murkier the waters could get, and how well I could swim across too.
All said and done it has humbled me and cleansed me from within, helping me to gain a richer experience of life. The only life that we are aware of !
Thanking each and every one of them, who have made this experience for me an experience of life time?
Im now looking forward to even richer experiences in life, gud by 08'

I welcome 09’
